Just talking by JT. I joined the Elks Lodge 174 in August 2006. At first I was happy to just enjoy the Pool playing but as I got to meet more and more of the members I started to see the good things that we do. I looked at the organization and saw things that I could help with and rather than just say things aren't right I got up and helped to make them better. I go to the meetings (board and general), I fixed the computers, I fixed the telephone system, I did the web site and with everything I got fixed I knew the club would be better not just for me but for all the people that enjoy it. All of us can do something for the club it just takes action instead of words. Once you do you'll see that it's true that Elks care and Elks share.

8-Year Member ...

I've been a member for 8 years. Things are changing from many of the "Old Ways" and the changes, though hard, will be good for us. As we open the lines of communication, we hope to get more family oriented activities, more events where laughing is encouraged and make ourselves more available to our community.
